As we approached the region for a solar farm, we chose a location CAREFULLY AND THOUGHTFULLY. Origis solar projects are located near existing energy infrastructure, where they can best benefit the electric grid.

Indiana has significant sun resources – much of the same sun that helps the local agricultural industry. Gibson County is a part of a state with great solar resources.

The project features access to nearby transmission lines, which lowers the cost of the energy produced and allows the project to serve homes and businesses through-out the region.

Wetlands, streams and critical habitats are documented and carefully avoided. Sites are chosen to protect viewsheds for surrounding neighbors and communities.
